Comics today

In my opinion the comic book Industry is going through a 2nd golden age as far as the quality of storytelling and artwork go. I mean I disconnected from comics for a while just after the Onslaught epic. I just couldnt get into the book that where around. Things got a bit better with X-Men: The Twelve but the story was far from perfect. It wasnt till Grant Morrison's run on the New X-Men that I really started reading again and since then we've had some amazing story arcs, House of M, Civil War, The Rise and fall of the Shiar Empire, Endangered species, Messiah Complex, Secret Invasion, Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, 52, Hush, Final Crisis and those are just the Big ones there havd been loadsa smaller arcs of just as high quality.Guys like Grant Morrison, Brian Michael Bendis, Neil Gaiman, Brad Meltzer, J Michael Strazynski, Ed Brubaker, Mark Waid,Geoff Johns, Phil Jimenez, Jim Lee and more have been on top of their game.
